Beautiful little antique brooch made around the late 1800s.
Queen Victoria visited and fell in love with Scotland, which made Scottish jewelry all the rage in Victorian fashion.
A beautiful Victorian unmarked silver set agate brooch.
The brooch is set with 6 Montrose grey half-moon shaped striped agate panels and a sparkly central Caingorm citrine that is amber orange color.
C clasp and tube hinge.
It is in good preowned conditon, normal minor wear consistent with age, some dark patina which I will leave unpolished.
Measures approx 1 1/8" long.
See photo next to quarter for size reference.
