Antique Satsuma Japan Hand Painted Covered Ginger Jar

Beautiful antique piece. From Japan. Covered small ginger style jar. Enamel and gold hand decorate it design. Wonderful detailing. Great display piece. Measures four and three-quarter inches high. I believe this dates to the late 1800s. Very good condition. Minor paint loss. There is one small chip on the rim of the lid and one very small, flake on the rim of the body. Unique and beautiful.
