This is a rare antique Bohemian art glass vase by Rindskopf, dating to ca. 1900–1915. The piece features a vivid olive-green iridescent body with a beautifully applied glass snake coiled around the tapered form. The snake's head is well-defined, with detailed eyes and a metallic purple/bronze surface that contrasts elegantly with the shimmering olive base. Size is approx. 9" tall x 5" wide with a ground and rough-polished pontil. Condition: Displays beautifully with strong iridescence; two very small rim chips (see photos), no cracks or repairs. These applied snake vases are highly collectible and sought after by Art Nouveau and Bohemian glass collectors. A wonderful opportunity to own a rare Rindskopf snake vase with strong display presence.
