Antique Repousse Silvered Tea Caddy

Antique tea caddy, excellent Condition, measures 4 1/4" tall by 3 1/2" wide, oval shaped, bottom measures 3 1/2" by 2 1/2", lift off caddy lid is 2 5/8" by 2 1/8". Illustrated are musicians, dancers, shopkeeper in doorway, a group socializing and drinking. Silvered repousse is of a village scene, surrounding the entire body of the Silver Plate over copper tea caddy, fully hallmarked, see last photos. Minimal wear considering its age. This quality caddy was made by Webster Mfg. Co. around 1850-1899. Photos of hallmarks clearly legible are W&S, Star, Fleur-de-lis, and faint Lion mark.
