Antique RS Germany Prussia Hand Painted Double Handled Relish Dish 1925 Signed

This antique RS Germany Prussia relish dish is a beautiful addition to any collection. The oval shape 9”x 4.5” weighs 8 oz with double side Art Deco designed handles makes it perfect for a variety of uses, relish, candy and even trinkets or candy.The hand painted Sweet Pea flowers are slightly raised in area which adds to the visual depth of the flowers. The colors are soft pastels of cream, pink and purple with accents of yellow and green leaves on a soft semi-glazed cream background. It features gold trim around the rim and the handles. Some of the gold trim has faded on the very top of the rim in places and the handles. This piece is very old and considering the age it is in amazing condition with no chips or cracks. Made in Germany and signed by the artist on the front, the signature looks like JC Denel. Based on the identification markings of the back which are in green, is RS Germany along with words hand painted; the piece was still consider RS Prussia and manufactured between 1912-1945; additional research indicated it was probably manufactured in 1925. Please review the photos carefully and the last photo has a yellow highlight indicating the artist signature. Measurements are approximately 9" x 4.5" and weighs 8.2 oz.
