Noritake Nippon Antique Japanese porcelain Oval plate with gold trim, gold handles, and a gold design on each side. The design seems to be symmetrical with thistle-like motifs. Two stylized golden thistles with leaves suggest that the plate has Scottish origins or to honor Scottish heritage This plate was marked Nippon between 1891 and 1921 The Mark “Norton N. Nippon” indicates antique porcelain manufactured by the Morimura Comp. Later known as Noritake Early Noritake pieces, especially hand painted ones are considered extremely rare and valuable. 7x7 Condition is pristine there are chips, cracks scratches.
