Antique Papier Mache Calling Card Tray Gold Gilded Decoration 4"x 2.5"x 1"

Antique black papier mache calling card tray (?) with gold gilt floral decoration. Very nice condition. Measures 4.5" long, 2.75" wide and 1" high. There is overall smooth, tight alligatoring and some age/use related imperfections.. i.e…a couple of small nicks, as well as a small crack on the underside of one end.. see pics. There is minimal wear or paint loss on the gold floral decoration.
