Compiled by the secretary of the Isthamian Canal Commission, 1913. 53 pages plus cover. Published by Ancon Canal Zone. This pamphlet includes a beautiful color fold-out map measuring 8.75” x 9.25” – the top of it seems intentionally adhered to the inside back cover. This piece is in VG antique shape but the pages are thin and very yellowed. The Panama Canal was one of the GREAT engineering feats of the day. It is still in operation day! It provided a substantial shortcut in transversing the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, making a monumental difference in the journeys of container ships and passenger ships. Size: 5” x 8.75”
