RARE Antique Architecture of Old Zweibrücken Germany Earthenware Wall Hanging Plate Niderviller France 1748-1770 Maker's Mark Excellent pre-owned condition from a smoke-free home. Please see photos for additional wear and condition information. Maker's mark/ signature acrossed back of decorative plate. According to the border of the maker's mark the item is from the Niderviller Pottery Manufacturers and was painted in France ("Peint France"). The maker's mark also shows that the plate was made between 1748 and 1770. Stamped acrossed the maker's mark is a made in Germany spellout as well as symbol. Just underneath the mark and stamp is the writing "Siamois Inalterable".
