Kutani/Seto enamel plate, likely from the late 19th or early 20th century. Estimated to be from the Meiji period (1868-1912).  Likely from the Kaga region of Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan. Material: Porcelain. Design: Features a bird of prey, possibly a hawk, surrounded by floral and landscape motifs. Color Palette: Includes traditional Kutani colors like red, green, and gold, with a scalloped rim. Technique: Hand-painted with overglaze enamels. Possible Maker: Could be attributed to the Matsumura workshop, given the style and period. A lovely antique Japanese Kutani porcelain lettuce rim plate. Dating to the Meiji period. Beautifully and delicately hand decorated with birds and flowers. Excellent antique condition.  7" inch
