Antique Majolica Monk Tabacco Jar Humidor‎

Antique majolica fat friar beer drinking monk ceramic tabacco lidded jar. An amazing addition to any collection this figural ceramic lidded box depicts a full body standing hooded cloaked monk figure holding a beer. A rich mottled mauve purple majolica glaze, hand painted. Some minor wear(?) To the top of the hood, it is possible it was never fully glazed in manufacturing as it doesn't read as a flaw. Overall excellent condition
