Antique MIDDLETOWN 700 Silver Triple Plate Figural Coffee or Tea Pot 11” Faces

Elegant antique triple silverplate coffee/tea pot with incredible intricate detailing, perfect for adding a touch of sophistication to your table & holiday decor. Stands esti 11” H & 9” W from spout to outer tip of handle. Absolutely spectacular! Believe likely circa 1900 or thereabouts. Co was in existence mid 19th century, so could be earlier. Ornate faces all around, at the base of the spout, & around pretty top rim you will find 3 faces, until you reach the handle. At handle, you’ll find a bearded gent at the outermost section. At the top of the lid is a kneeling cherub or youngster blowing a horn. Natural patina, has not been polished/shined. Normal scratches/light dings & signs of previous use, but nothing serious in our opinion. There is an indentation that can be clearly seen in one photo. Almost as though somebody jammed a knuckle into it, for size reference. The handle itself is also quite ornate, love how it attaches at the bottom. We were advised that the adornments on the handle were jadeite. While they don’t have the typical ivory tone hue we usually see on these antique pots, they’re also not the typical strong bright green jadeite we would expect to see. Please see pix. We don’t have a black light, but would expect this to glow if we did. Bottom is clearly marked “Middletown plate” triple plate 700. There may be characters above & below; can’t make out.
