This is a beautiful and authentic antique Limoges porcelain sugar bowl, hand-painted with a lovely floral design. The base is stamped with the "LIMOGES L. R. L. FRANCE" mark, which identifies it as a piece decorated by the LeGrand, Limoges, and Rihouet studio. This mark and the bowl's ornate style place it in the late 19th to early 20th century.
The bowl's body features a gorgeous molded texture and is adorned with delicate hand-painted pink roses and greenery. It has two beautifully designed, intact handles and a gilded rim that adds to its elegance. This piece is a wonderful example of the artistry and craftsmanship of the era.
Condition: Excellent antique condition. The bowl is free of any chips or cracks. There is some minor wear to the gold gilding on the handles and rim, which is a normal and expected sign of its age and adds to its authentic antique character.
