Antique Japanese Woodblock Print Hand Tinted 19th Century Geishas with Scroll

Antique Japanese woodblock print from the 19th Century. This print was made on rice paper and then hand colored with water colors. The frame is black wood with gold highlights on the front. The paper on the back is torn. The subject is two geisha girls reading a scroll in a garden. The print measures 7.5" tall and 5.5" wide. The frame is 9.75" tall, 8" wide and 1.5" in depth. The print is covered in glass and weighs one pound. The print is in VG antique condition. The frame has lost some it it's gilding. The backing paper has been torn.
