Antique Japanese Tokoname Dragon Vase Hand Painted Pottery Bronze Over Black 12"

This 12" vase features five bronze painted dragon heads with light blue and coral red details in raised relief over a black bacground. Around the upper shoulder are eight medallions with a central red floral motif that can represent either a cherry blossom or a floating lotus. This was produced between 1921 and 1930. It has scratches and small flea bites that are a testament to its age. Stamped "Made in Japan" on the bottom. This can be a great addition to a space with Asian decor, or in a Samurai-themed display, but it would also fit well in a Gothic setting.
