Antique Ironstone Transferware Blue Flow Embossed Soup Bowl, 9 3⁄4” 1830-1834

This bowl has a beautiful finish and the cobalt blue transfer print is vibrant and classically "flowing". This is Ridgway's oriental pattern. The border is blue and contains cartouches that alternate between an architectural and floral scenes. The well design depicts an Asian or Middle Eastern inspired architecture with bagoda, gondola boat, and beautiful landscape. Scalloped edge. See photos for one small chip. Other than that, it is in excellent condition. 9 3/4 inches diameter, 1 3/4 inches depth.
