This is a beautiful antique Homer Laughlin covered casserole, transferware, with hand detailing. Gilt edging on the cover and handle. This piece dates between 1894 and 1905, as the signature mark with the American eagle over the English lion indicates. The pattern features delicate yellow/cream/mauve/pink flowers among greenery on an off-white background, and could easily be used for Easter or Christmas dinners due to the colors. This piece is in fair antique condition - while there are no chips or cracks, there are stains, gilt loss (especially on the edges of the cover) and crazing in areas overall. This piece measures 11-1/2 inches by 7-1/2 inches. Please view all photos carefully.
