This is an STUNNING Antique Homan Silverplate Co. Covered Dish Quadruple Plate. This rare gem is from the 1890s. It is missing the lining glass bowl that you cook in. My grandparents added a ceramic bowl when they used it. There are a few dents in the ornate lid. Even though it is not perfect it has been well used and it’s truly the most lovely piece.

premieredetrois @poshaln hi!! Just seeing your comment now. To answer your questions, yes, to all, lol. This is from mid 1890s. Homan Silversplate Co. made this with what they called “special metal” which is a mix of metal, silver, copper and silver plates. This is such a gorgeous piece.
