Antique Cauldon Ware ceramic advertising mug for Hires Root Beer, featuring a colorful transfer of a Victorian-style child holding a frothy mug and pointing upward. Reverse side shows raised red Hires lettering. Made in England circa 19051920 during the Edwardian period. The mug stands approximately 4 inches tall. Good condition overall, with a couple flaws including a fine crack with crazing at the bottom rim, and partial loss to the transfer on the front. Displays well overall for its age.
