Antique Hand carved Mother of Pearl Cameo Brooch Rare Filigree Frame

Antique hand carved mother of pearl cameo brooch with intricate mother of pearl design. The details of the scenic engraving is incredible. From the architectural detailing of the castle to the shadow of the sailboat in the ripples of the water, it is clear that a master artist created this treasure. It is extremely difficult to carve Mother of Pearl as it easily chips and cracks. The hinged pin and c-clamp closure is secure. Excellent condition given its age. Measures; 1 3/4" x 1 1/4"
