Antique hand painted porcelain hair receiver stamped on the bottom Vienna Austria. Possibly a part of a Limoges dresser set. Marking suggests it was produced before 1938. Hair receivers were used to collect hair that could be used later when fixing your hair to create volume. Charming hand painted with roses, forget me nots and painted with gold on the legs. This beautiful piece could also be used as a trinket box. Measures 3 3/4” tall x 5” diameter and is in very good condition.
