Who says roses are red? These butter pats are here to challenge poetry and stereotypes alike, with pink and yellow florals that scream elegance, not clichés.
This set of 3 butter dishes were made in France in the early 1900s. The blue A Lanternier mark indicates they were hand painted between 1891 - 1914, by Alfred Lanternier. I am so glad to have rescued these from a thrift store in Minnesota. They are incredibly beautiful and would make the perfect addition to your family's collection. I think they are worth starting a new collection, but that's just me. I love dishes and these are special.
