Antique Hand Carved Wooden Bowl Lizards Geckos Incised New Guinea Attributed 11”

This bowl is in excellent antique condition. The measurements are provided in the photographs. It is 11 inches across and 5 inches high. The bowl is adorned with incising around the rim and the base and there are three lizards or geckos carved into the side of the bowl. It is made from a single piece of wood. This beautiful bowl has been attributed to Papua New Guinea. It came from a fine Sarasota Florida estate that had several important pieces from New Guinea, areas of Africa, and other global areas.
