Antique Hamilton Montgomery Dial for a Railroad Grade Pocket Watch Size 16s

This Hamilton Montgomery pocket watch dial was created to meet the strict standards for railroad timekeeping. Every minute from 1 to 60 is individually numbered, with the numbers for minutes 1-12 being placed outside the hour markers. The dial has two recessed areas, or "sinks": one for the center of the dial with the "Hamilton" logo and another for the sub-dial that displays the seconds. It is made of porcelain which was used for high-quality pocket watches. The dial shows signs of age, including hairline cracks.
