This is an authentic antique ice cream scoop manufactured by the Gem Spoon Company in Troy, NY. This vintage scoop features a durable metal bowl and a classic wooden handle, making it both functional and a charming piece of kitchen history. There is a number 16 shown inside the bowl. 11 inches long, 2 1/4 scoop diameter, 1 3/8 scop depth. The handle does turn. There is a screw on top but will not tighten any further.
