Antique French majolica figural Flemish pitcher with whimsical peasant scene in a castle courtyard. This antique circa late 19th century majolica pitcher was made in northern France by Onnaing Pottery. It features a very fanciful and detailed scene of people dancing, eating, drinking, playing music, and generally having a good time. The handle and spout are an anthropomorphic tree with a jolly face. It is colourfully hand painted and glazed in jewel tones.
