This piece of lace is part of an antique dress or skirt bottom. It would have been fastened to the bottom part of the dress or skirt. The lace is in excellent condition, no snags or other damage. The ribbon is worn through in a couple of places. The ribbon could be replaced if the hem is used as intended.
