Antique Edwardian Whiting & Davis Gold Mesh Fringed Kiss Lock Small Vintage Bag Purse •Good vintage condition. Smoke-free home. Please see photos for measurements and more information, enlarge when needed. This is not perfect, there's a fringe missing from the bottom.(see photo) Overall age wear, no holes. There are a couple of small paillettes missing near the bottom corner where the fringe starts. These purses are delicate so I'm always impressed when they're intact, it's a testament to the quality. I'd like this to go to an appreciative home. •Whiting and Davis started in 1892. This is likely one of the earlier versions. These are all handmade of intricate chain maille mesh with golden paillettes. The very first versions were of precious metals, gold, and sterling.
