This antique Drexel leather coin purse features a spring-loaded metal coin sorter for 5¢, 10¢ and 25¢ denominations—an early mid-century design produced between the 1930s–1950s. Crafted from textured black leather with embossed DREXEL COIN PURSE lettering, this compact wallet is a wonderful survivor from a bygone era. The interior metal mechanism works smoothly and retains its original patina. Some expected age patina is present, including light verdigris near the snap and edges—normal for brass hardware of this age (see photos).
