Great piece for collectors of civil war, military or hunting this Antique Brass, Copper Gun Powder Flask is an incredible piece of history.
This brass and copper gun powder flask was made by the major Sheffield, England firm of G. & J. W. Hawksley. This company, founded by brothers George and John William Hawksley, was well known for its fine craftsmanship and manufactured powder flasks for over four decades.
Gunpowder was sold in bulk and gunpowder flasks were used to carry gunpowder when out in the field. This vintage oil can showcases a charming brown and gold metallic body, complete with a long, narrow spout. Its aged patina and warm hues add a touch of history and character, making it a standout piece for collectors. See photos for actual condition of this Antique piece. Closure works.
