Antique Chinese Showman ware ginger jar late 19th century Shiwanzhen, Foshan.

A beautiful addition to use as a small vase/plater, or a prized decorative item, one with nice texture and color. Cast in a hexagonal shape with recessed side panels decorated with embossed floral motifs, each panel with a different species of flowering plant. The drip glaze has a deep green / teal color. The base and mouth are unglazed. Handmade and rustic with flaws and imperfections typical of this style stoneware.
