Stunning Antique Chinese Canton Export porcelain Famille Rose plate in "Thousand Butterflies" pattern. This amazing and complex pattern was produced from around mid 1800s into 20th century and became very popular. This plate is the earlier version of the pattern. The shape of the foot and quality of paining points out on earlier production time. Decorated with absolutely stunning butterflies and generous use of gilt, the plate is very detailed and skillfully hand-painted. It is really fascinating complexity and colors - the best I've ever seen of this pattern.
