Item Description Antique late 19th to early 20th century child's dome-top steamer trunk / doll trunk. This smaller trunk was modeled after full-size travel trunks of the Victorian era, but scaled down for children or as a doll chest. Features include: • Slight dome-top lid with wood slats and canvas covering • Decorative pressed metal hardware with ornate corner caps • Brass wreath mounts on the side handles (one original leather handle is broken, the other intact but fragile) • Interior lined with patterned paper and a lithograph of children at play • Tray insert intact • Approximate size: [insert dimensions here – e.g. 20" wide × 14" tall × 12" deep] Condition: Good antique condition overall with age-appropriate wear.
