Antique Cast Iron Meat Tenderizer 1920’s without handle. The multi-tined, or "toothed," head is designed for pounding and tenderizing meat by hand.
Approximate measurements: 1.5” square- .5” from base to tine- 4” from top to tine. There is no doubt in my mind that my maternal grandmother used this kitchen tool in the 1920’s. She was a 5 Star Sicilian Cook. And so was her mother. Nice patina. Good antique condition.
