The sculpture portrays a weary Native American man on horseback, symbolizing the physical exhaustion and suffering of Native peoples during westward expansion and forced removal from their lands. * Antique bookends from around 1920 * Cast iron with a dark bronze finish * Heavy weight and in very fine condition with minor wear for character * Size is 4.5" wide, 2" deep and 4" tall. In wonderful antique condition with lovely patina.
