Antique Carved Hedaio Bead Pit, Olive Stone Coqullia Nut, Authentic Tibetan

Years ago, when I started designing new jewelry from vintage, I was always searching for old jewelry pieces to design from and this antique shop had rickety old drawers filled with all kinds small antique junk. Exact age of this is unknown, but it was found with items that were Victorian through the 20s. In the title I used every name and type of seed / pit / nut I could think of because I'm not sure exactly which one this is! I would eliminate olive seed though, because this has rounder ends. I have lightened the photos A LOT so you can see the amazing carving. There are old bead caps on each end. Can't make out exactly what is depicted here but I have seen similar carvings before. You can barely make out what looks like a temple carved into a mountain. I would say Tibetan prayer bead. It was on a short strand with the trade bead AND the big round carved bone bead. This piece has a small bone bead attached. What you find in this closet section is be rare and unique vintage jewelry supplies. Destashing what is left of over 30 years of accumulation, since I stopped designing jewelry years ago.
