lcahoon I have this exact piece. I’m not sure if this really is an ashtray. My dad got it in Korea. It’s in perfect working order. How did you verify it’s actually an ashtray? Just checking to see the time period it’s from. I haven’t cleaned mine as not to take anything away from the brass
