This is a Goodwin Pottery Co. branded semi-porcelain antique bone dish.
This dish was manufactured sometime between 1893 and 1906 based upon the back stamp (See Photos).
As a 100+ years old piece of pottery, there is visible wear (heavy crazing, age related rust stains, etc). There is also a chip noted (SEE PHOTOS.)
It is a lovely piece of history, with a still vibrant, purplish/pink and green floral design and gold trim around the scalloped rim. (SEE PHOTOS.)
While it was originally used to hold bones discarded from a meal, more modern uses include as a table centerpiece, a trinket dish or simply as an interesting display piece.
Please check the photos and feel free to ask questions.
