Antique Black & Gold Cash Box Lock Box Metal Money Storage Box Painted Vintage

Up for sale is this fantastic Antique Black & Gold Cash Box with black all over paint and gold highlights. There are even some very cute flourishes in gold on the top of this box. There is no key sadly, but it opens and closes with ease. Has a nice handle on top, but don't carry it by the handle since it doesn't have a key to lock it. Store your trinkets and treasures inside of this box. The key escutcheon has very nice details around the edges. Someone cut the back of a silk stocking box and placed it inside of the cash box's lid. I have no idea if maybe they stored their stockings in this box or...I have no idea, but I thought I would leave it there for giggles. Measures approximately: 6 3/4” wide x 9 1/2” long x 3 1/4” high.
