Step into the romance of the late Victorian era with this antique matched pair of German bisque porcelain figurines, beautifully hand-painted and richly detailed. Dating to circa 1890–1910, this charming pastoral couple features a shepherd with a ram and a shepherdess with her loyal dog, each wearing soft pastel Rococo-style clothing.
These pieces are crafted from fine bisque/soft-paste porcelain, entirely hand-painted, and stand an impressive 13 inches tall. Both figures rest on raised bases decorated with delicate molded florals. The bottoms retain their original green felt and are hand-marked “Germany” and a pencil mold number.
