Antique‎ Bird Print RARE, hand colored engraving on paper, 6” x 9”, 1800

Crimson Pigeon or Rose - coloured Dove, Columbia Roses. Extinct. Published October 1st, 1800. Illustrator is Frederick Polydor Nodder (1770–1800). I purchased this 26 years ago from blue Chip art gallery in NYC: Les Kafka. It has remained in a temperature controlled closet ever since.
