Antique Bird Illustrations - book plate etchings

Set of two antique book plate illustrations of bird species. These engraving plates are full page illustrations (from books) without text or printing on the reverse side, from the early 19th century, and often hand colored by artists. Plate one: swans, 9.5”x6.25” Plate two: albatross, 9.5”x6.25” Both in condition consistent with age. Some rough edges (these were originally framed), paper color is aged, and swan print has a small tear that has been repaired. Originally purchased from an antique shop in London.
