Antique Astrakhan & Mink Fur Coat

This is a custom made astrakhan fur coat with a mink collar. Overall, it is in good vintage condition with a few imperfections as pictured. It attaches in the front with two hooks. There are pockets in the front. There is no size tag but it fits like a women’s medium. 23” length 19” pit to pit 24” shoulder to wrist Astrakhan was very popular in the late 1800’s to early 1900’s and the black fur was highly sought after making this piece a highly collectible fur coat. This type of coat from this era would have cost the equivalent of a house, which was around $5,000. This was from a department store that had them at a more affordable price.
