Antique Art Deco 12K Gold Filled Sliding Picture Photo Flower Locket Pendant

This is a rare and remarkable antique 1/20 12K gold filled photo locket dating back to the early 1920s. It is very intricately detailed with a flower and leaves along with Art Deco era designs. There is a movable screen door that slides upward which reveals the compartment that holds a photo, that still has its original celluloid picture protector attached. It measures 1.25 inches high by .70 inches wide and is pictured next to a US quarter for size comparison. The craftsmanship is superb, and this piece has a good weight of 8.5 grams. This locket is marked 1-20 12K GOLD FILLED PAT. PEND. and is in excellent condition! There is also a letter "W" in a triangle which most likely represents the hallmark of the jewelry company that crafted this unique and beautiful locket back in the day.
