Antique ART DECO Thick Clear Glass Cheese Butter Domed Compote~ THINK CHEESEBALL This is a stunning antique. Thick clear glass, appears almost flawless, minor chipping on the edges of the lid from use. Check pictures closely for better description. My understanding this was from the1920's -1930's. It stands 7" tall x 6" in diameter, each handle sticks out an inch on either side. Lovely pedestal and tapered finial.There is a lip on the base just over an inch tall, with the dome on its about 3" tall not counting the finial. What a beautiful way to serve a cheese ball, etc.
