* Matches at the time were very expensive so they were used sparingly
* Staffordshire figures and Houses or cottages were made from around 1740 to 1900 by various pottery factories in England and Scotland
* Most have no maker’s marks
* Victorian flatback examples were undecorated on one side because they were designed to sit on a shelf or fireplace mantel and only viewed from the front or sides
* This Staffordshire spill vase measures 7.5" high x 4.5" wide x 3.5" deep
* In good preowned condition, has normal wear for its age, not perfect....

I added a photo of the bottom, there is no makers mark. They were not used on these cottages/burners from Staffordshire in the 1800's.
