Antique 1930’s Ward Stilson Mahogany 9584 Automatic Harp Music Box Working

Gorgeous piece, 1930s automatic harp no 9584 This instrument was manufactured by the Ward-Stilson Company in the early 20th century. It is not played manually; instead, it contains a wind-up music box mechanism that automatically plays music. These instruments were popular among fraternal organizations, such as the International Order of Odd Fellows, for use in ceremonies and initiations. Could use a good cleaning, quite a bit of dust in music box compartment. Plays fine, and sound is incredibly relaxing. A statement piece for sure. Wind it up with a key and slide switch on interior of harp arm to start the music.
