Antique 1930's Depression Glass Footed Bowl, Pink

This is a gorgeous example of pink Depression glass, often used as a candy dish because of its shape and size. This type of glass was mass produced during the Great Depression to help keep people employed during the hard times. It was produced in a variety of colors, including pink, green, amber, yellow, blue, and clear. Pink Depression glass is considered one of the rarer and more valuable colors due to its limited production. This one survived the test of time, beautifully I might add.
