Antique 1904 Children's Book, First 1st Edition, Hardcover, The Art-Literature

Antique first edition 1904 children's book "The Art-Literature Readers A Primer" by Eulalie Osgood Grover. Published by Atkinson, Mentzer & Grover. The book has large print with sing-song, poetry style reading that would appeal to children. It is also an art education primer with copious, glossy, greyscale reproductions of famous painting that are kid-safe and fun -children at play, various animals, mothers and babies, etc. Dedication inside front cover signed Effie Smith. Size: 111 pages, hardcover, 7.75" x 6.25" x 0.25" Condition: Good antique condition. Pages are intact to spine and binding is still strong. Some staining to cover. There are a couple (less than 1") page edge tears in the book. A child wrote something in pencil below the dedication. Even toning throughout the pages. The images and font are still bright and pages mostly crisp- a feat for a kids book that is 120 years old! NPK- (psh,eb)
