This exquisite, Antique (1890-1914) Fenton Carnival Glass bowl in the "Acorn" or "Autumn Acorn" pattern. Flared blue adorned with acorns and leaves at its center, the bowl gracefully expands to a ruffled edge. It measures 7 1/2" wide, 2 1/8" high, with a 2 3/4" collar base. The exterior has a smooth finish; visible lines are straw marks from the molding process. In near-mint condition with no cracks, chips, or repairs, the rich blue and rose color variations and sharp details are remarkable. Known for its vibrant, iridescent sheen (applied by hand in the early 1900s), these Classic Era bowls feature a central oak leaf, oak branches, leaves, and acorns, with a ruffled/crimped edge. They were made in various base colors (blue, green, amethyst, marigold), each displaying different iridescent hues. Expect typical imperfections like straw marks, small bubbles, or minor wear. Grab it at this price before someone else does!
